RRC SER ALP and Train Manager Recruitment 2024 Educational Required
Candidates must have obtained the required qualification/technical certificate from a recognized board/university/institute as of the notification date. Otherwise, their candidature will be rejected at any selection stage. Candidates who have not received the results of their final qualifying examination by the current date are not eligible.
RRC SER ALP and Train Manager Recruitment 2024 Selection Method
Selection for the posts notified in the notification will consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by a qualifying test (if applicable), document verification, and a medical examination. There will be a separate CBT for each post applied for.
- Computer Based Test (CBT): The CBT for open market candidates will be equivalent to the RRB examination level. The CBT questions will be in English and Hindi and will include subjects related to General Awareness, Arithmetic, General Intelligence, and Reasoning. The exam duration will be 90 minutes, consisting of 100 objective-type questions, each carrying one mark.
- Negative Marking: There will be negative marking in the CBT exam. For each wrong answer, 1/3 of the marks prescribed for that question will be deducted.
- Minimum Qualifying Marks: The minimum percentage of marks for eligibility are: UR-40%, OBC-30%, SC-30%, and ST-25%.
- Additional Aptitude Test: For the post of Assistant Loco Pilot, an additional qualifying examination (CBAT) will be conducted online for candidates selected based on CBT merit.
- Notification of Exam Date: RRC/GRC will notify the exam date via SMS and email to the registered mobile numbers and email addresses of the candidates.
- Absenteeism: No supplementary examination will be conducted for any candidate who remains absent from the CBT/qualifying test.
- Instructions During Exam: Candidates must carefully read and follow the instructions given on the computer terminal during the exam. Failure to follow with the guidelines might result in disqualification.
